Our consultant Lutz Eklöh recently had the pleasure of visiting the ISM in Cologne, the world’s largest trade fair for confectionery and snacks.
This is where all manufacturers, retailers, suppliers, and service providers meet to discuss new products, changing consumer habits, and, above all, the future of the industry.
As an executive search consultant at KMCG with over 30 years of operational management experience in confectionery, snacks, food, and non-food, he focused particularly on the following questions at ISM: Which business models are prevailing today and will prevail in the future, how are value chains changing, and what kind of leadership is needed to truly shape this development?
Topics such as internationalization, sustainability, health & nutrition, premiumization, and digital and alternative distribution channels were reflected in the discussions.
An exciting and successful event!
