As a manager in the industrial sector, Roland Emig has seen at first hand just how important the right managers are for a company to develop, and how much of an impact active managers can have on target achievement. He understands and conducts executive searches to support and offer solutions for clients. Roland has been a Managing Partner at KMCG GmbH since 2022.

Whilst training to be an officer in the German Armed Forces, he studied economics and organisational science.
Following his first job as a project manager in large-scale plant construction in the energy and environmental technology sector, he moved into the construction and building supplies industry. Here, roles in auditing, business administration, and Group financial control together with a stint as head of risk management provided him with deep insight into processes and interrelationships within companies.

This was followed by time spent as plant manager and managing director in mechanical and plant engineering and in the automotive supply industry. A reorganisation led to him becoming partner within a small machining service provider, and he is also happy to act as a reorganisation and restructuring consultant for companies in challenging situations.

Roland has now settled in the cultural city of Weimar. When his varied professional life allows him the time, he finds balance in pastimes that involve working with his hands such as furniture restoration, building with wood and tending to an old motorcycle, as well as endurance sports, alpine pursuits and cooking.
