Norbert Gabriel grew up near Breslau and graduated in mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University, Germany, and Seoul National University, Korea. He began his career in project management and sales in the field of technology and automation industry before switching to the automotive industry in a managerial role. This took him all over the world, including the USA, Brazil, and Eastern Europe, and saw him play an instrumental role in building new companies from the ground up, as well as planning plant facilities and heading their operations. He successfully restructured a rail firm as its chief executive officer. He has been an independent Consultant since 2014 and an Executive Search Consultant at KMCG since 2017. Norbert is familiar with different management philosophies and corporate cultures. He is able to quickly grasp communication structures and processes, which enables him to provide innovative ideas and valuable assistance to the clients.

As an Executive Search Consultant, he is used to conducting global projects at the top level. Clients value his expertise in general management, operations, and sales. He is particularly comfortable with clients from the industrial, automotive, mobility, rail, engineering and technology sectors.

Norbert lives in Vienna (Austria). In his free time he likes to play tennis, enjoys a relaxing round of golf and a good glass of wine. He is also a Rotarian and is actively involved in projects worldwide.
